Studies suggest that you should walk 10,000 steps every day but realistically most of us only manage around 2,000 preferring the bus, train or car. Walking is one of the most natural things you can do for your health. The goal is to fit 60 minutes of walking in a day. To do this you could get off the bus a few stops early or get up a little earlier and go for a stroll before you get into the office. You don’t have to do this every day just three days a week, but still try to walk as much as possible on the alternative days. And if you can’t fit in a full 60 minute session break it down into little chunks throughout the day. It’s a great excuse to get out in your lunch hour.
